Each April Gift of Life hosts the Donor Dash in celebration of the life-saving power of organ and tissue donation and to honor the donors who make it possible.
Gift of Life Donor Program’s 25th annual Donor Dash, scheduled for Sunday, April 19, is being postponed in accordance with recommendations for large gatherings by the Philadelphia Department of Health. Please visit www.donordash.org for more information.
The Donor Dash brings more than 14,000 participants together to walk or run in celebration of the life-saving power of donation and honor the donors who make it possible.
Since 1996, Donor Dash has raised millions to support organ and tissue donation education and awareness efforts.
Proceeds from the Donor Dash benefit the Transplant Foundation, the charitable foundation that supports programs and activities for donor and recipient families. These include Team Philadelphia’s participation at the Donate Life Transplant Games of America and the Gift of Life Family House.
By supporting the Donor Dash you help raise awareness about the critical need to register as an organ and tissue donor.
Walk or run to support organ and tissue donation
There are more than 5,000 men, women, and children in our region awaiting a life-saving organ transplant. You can help us make a difference!
At the Donor Dash you can join other passionate and committed people in one of three events: a 10k run, a 5k run, or a 3k walk, starting at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and heading down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Registration is easy and takes less than 5 minutes.
Start a team and encourage friends and family to join you!
