In the midst of COVID-19, four-year-old Zach needed a life-saving heart transplant. Thanks to a selfless family’s decision to say “yes” to organ donation, Zach received his new heart and a chance to run, play and grow! Gift of Life Howie’s House became Zach and mom Sarah’s home away from home while awaiting and recovering from his transplant so the Central PA family could remain close to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
