Villanova Kidney Recipient Competes In 2018 Transplant Games

A Villanova man who got a kidney transplant in 1992 joined numerous other donors and recipients at the Transplant Games of America recently.

VILLANOVA, PA – A Villanova man who got a kidney transplant nearly 30 years ago joined numerous other area residents who either gave or received organ transplants participated in Donate Life’s 2018 Transplant Games of America in early August, and some of them earned medals during the games.

Michael Meshkov, of Villanova, received a kidney transplant in 1992. He competed in basketball and volleyball at the event.
