2025 Life and Legacy Celebration Community Ceremony

Our virtual Life and Legacy Celebration was held Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025. We held three in-person ceremonies across our region each year and offered this important event virtually as well.

More than 120 donors were honored at this year’s virtual ceremony, and 200 were honored at our in-person ceremonies. All families, whether they came to a ceremony or watched the virtual program, received the Gift of Life Donor Medal, matching lapel pins and a beautiful, one of a kind Wrapped in Hugs wrap in honor of their loved one.  We shared donor family and recipient stories and celebrated the heroic donors with a special photographic tribute.

  • Join Our Donor Family Facebook Group

    This group is monitored by Gift of Life’s Family Support Services Department with the purpose of fostering a safe place to encourage engagement, support, and mutual sharing of experiences among donor families in the Gift of Life region.

  • Hearts of Gold Volunteer Group

    Hearts of Gold is a group of donor family members, whose aim is to address the specific needs and issues of these families. The group focuses on supporting donor families in their grief through special speakers, educational topics and activities.
