A Year of Extraordinary Heroism: Wishing You a Holiday of Hope!
May our community's strong spirit brighten your holiday's and bring hope for the new year!
These photos show some of the special people and stories from this unprecedented year.
Your caring support has never been more essential!
Sarah and Sean Reesey stayed at the Gift of Life Howie’s House both before and during the pandemic, while they waited for a heart transplant for their young son, Zachary.
The generosity of our community makes it possible for us to provide families like Zach’s with affordable lodging, meals, counseling and educational programs, access to transportation, and, most importantly, a place to call home when they are far from their own homes.
“Gift of Life Howie’s House is the next best thing to being at home, it makes a very difficult time a little easier. In reality, that’s all we can ask for.” -Sarah, mom of Zach, a heart transplant recipient
Providing these essential services – especially during a pandemic – has never been more important.
“My husband Sean and I felt ourselves growing stronger during our stay there after Zach’s surgery” says Sarah.
You can help transplant patients and families, and the Gift of Life Howie’s House grow stronger together by making a gift today.
