Gift of Life has been holding an Organ Donor Awareness Night at the Philadelphia Phillies since 1999. Gift of Life Volunteer Ambassadors hand out information and materials to increase awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation and registration.

Heart transplant recipient CJ Adams threw out the first pitch before the 2025 Gift of Life Phillies game. CJ is a huge Phillies fan (his favorite player is Bryce Harper) and got the experience of a lifetime.
