Austin Williams
Chief Administrative Officer
Austin Williams became Chief Administrative Officer in July 2026 after joining Gift of Life as Senior Director of Business Development in 2023. He leads the administrative and operational functions that support Gift of Life’s mission to save and heal lives through organ and tissue donation.

His role features oversight of key areas of one of the nation’s busiest organ procurement organizations including human resources, quality assurance, data analytics, information technology, finance, public affairs, family services and strategic planning, helping ensure operational excellence, regulatory integrity, and a strong organizational culture.
With more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, Mr. Wiliams has advanced business strategy development and strategic planning for administrative and clinical departments for Gift of Life Donor Program and its affiliate, Gift of Life Institute.
As Senior Director of Business Development, he also led the program’s quality assurance and data departments and worked with clinical leadership to implement new programs including financial planning, contract negotiations, operational planning, and implementation oversight.
He partners with other organizations to enhance the operations of the donor program and institute and collaborates with other organ procurement organizations and transplant center leaders to improve donation and transplantation outcomes.
Mr. Williams is board certified in healthcare leadership by the American College of Healthcare Executives. His many years of experience as a healthcare executive include serving as the chief administrative officer for the Penn Transplant Institute. He received his baccalaureate degree in biomedical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and his Master of Science in healthcare technology management from Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Mr. Williams is six sigma yellow belt certified, and he has extensive experience in hospital and ambulatory operations, process improvement, strategic planning, business development, and leading large complex teams.
