We add this tribute to express our love for Donald. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle and Pappy. We all treasure our memories of family times together. His love and Godly influence remains with us.
Donald was always one who strived to do things with excellence, no matter what he attempted… the many years he served in the AWANA ministry and leading a small group bible study, his woodworking craftsmanship, tying flies for his next fly-fishing adventure, helping someone with a home repair, working on local watershed projects to improve stream conditions and other conservation efforts, or going on a missions trip to use his many abilities… he purposed in all things to honor the Lord. He was a skilled welder and steel fabricator where he was employed for almost 28 years.
Donald was also a regular blood donor and so, when his earthly life ended so suddenly, we knew he would want to be a donor through this Gift of Life program. Donald would want it said that he received a Gift of Love years ago by faith. Because of this we know he is now full experiencing the wonderful Gift of Life- Eternal Life – and is home with the Lord he loved and served here on earth, and that we will be reunited with him there.
