Sean Liskey

Sean was born a happy baby boy on September 5th, 1978, the middle son of three boys.

As he grew up, he played many sports and excelled as an athlete, although humble with his ability and small in size. He was a good leader and well liked. He influenced many people with his kind heart, caring and compassion for others. His outgoing personality and friendliness drew people to want to be with him.

Red was his favorite color and he was a die hard 49ers as well as a Phillies fan.

He enjoyed fishing and loved nature. His bedroom was always filled with fish aquariums, miniature turtles, hermit crabs, crayfish and lizards to name a few.

He was a Christian and decided to get baptized at the age of 8 into our Brethren church. He became involved with the youth group and went with them to youth conference in Colorado which was a memorable experience for him

He got married and was blessed with a sweet little girl named Skylar. He adored and loved her very much. As Christmas approached, he was as excited about the holidays as his daughter was because it was his favorite time of the year.

He decided to go to college to become a nurse. He felt the need to take care of people. Unfortunately he never finished his schooling as a brain tumor would invade his life.

He bravely fought his illness for three years and nine months until he went to live with the Lord at the age of 29. We miss him and his hearty laugh but we know God has a plan for each one of us and we will see him again someday in heaven.

He had been a blood donor and also the first in our family to become an organ donor. He convinced the rest of the family to do the same as he knew the importance of organ donation. We are so very proud of him.

We are pleased to honor Sean by making a quilt square in his memory. Thank you for allowing our family to be a part of this service.
