This one-day workshop is a fast-paced and highly interactive session. Participants are asked to assess their unit’s/hospital’s current donation processes and are charged with “Leaving in Action” so that a collaborative and coordinated effort is in place for offering families the opportunity for donation. DESCRIPTION:Gift of Life volunteer ambassador Diane Milbourne and David Swick will be the Fightin Phils Neighborhood Hero. \n\n\n\nDiane’s husband Ed was saved three lives through organ donation. One of Ed’s recipients was Dave\, and he will throw out the first pitch before the game. \n\n\n\nEd’s life-saving gift allowed Dave to travel and recently walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. \n\n\n\nGift of Life’s Blue Mountain Ambassadors will host an information table during the game if you are interested in learning more about organ donation and want to sign up to become a donor.
