25th Annual Donor Dash
10K & 5K runs and 3K walk at the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Gift of Life Donor Program’s 25th annual Donor Dash, scheduled for Sunday, April 19, is being postponed in accordance with recommendations for large gatherings by the Philadelphia Department of Health.
We will look at opportunities to reschedule this special event informed by close monitoring of local, state and federal guidance. We will provide updates via our website, social media and other communications channels.
As a result, we will not be accepting new registrations at this time.
THANK YOU for your support of Gift of Life. Like you, we are disappointed to postpone the Dash, but our most important priority must be the health and well-being of our community. We will continue to look for ways to honor the selfless donors who gave the gift of life and brave recipients that mean so much to you.
Our clinical team and Gift of Life hospital partners are continuing their 24/7 efforts to save and enhance lives. The Dash and your support play an integral role in supporting this mission. Please continue your advocacy via social and digital media.
We know how strong the transplant and donor community is, and are confident that the rescheduled 25th Donor Dash will be our biggest and best celebration yet of the life-saving power of organ and tissue donation. In the meantime, please keep sending your special photos from past Donor Dashes!
We join everyone in hoping that COVID-19 will soon be contained, and in wanting to do everything we can to support this. Our thoughts are with you, your family and our community.

For the past 25 years Gift of Life Donor Program, together with our dedicated volunteers, has hosted the Donor Dash to promote organ and tissue donation. The Dash celebrates the life-saving power of donation and honors all of the donors who give others a second chance at life.
The popular annual event, which attracts more than 14,000 people from throughout the tristate region, raises funds to educate the community about the need for more people to register as organ and tissue donors. Held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, it is Gift of Life’s largest and most visible event of the year.
Proceeds from the Donor Dash benefit the Transplant Foundation, the charitable foundation that supports programs and activities for donor and recipient families. These include Gift of Life Family House and Team Philadelphia‘s participation at the Donate Life Transplant Games of America.
