Gift of Life Donor Program, and its non-profit affiliate, Gift of Life Transplant Foundation are committed to supporting innovative initiatives to support transplant patients (and their caregivers/families) receiving care at the transplant centers throughout the entire Gift of Life donation service area. The Innovative Research in Support of Donation & Transplantation Grant

This exciting opportunity will fund those selected individual projects (up to $50,000) that support innovation, quality and safety in the field of donation and transplantation through scientific research, social and behavioral interventions or alternate approaches to existing processes and protocols. Funded projects should positively impact organ and tissue donation and transplantation in this region.

Regional Transplant Family Support Grant Program

This Healthcare Grant Program funded by Gift of Life Transplant Foundation is focused on supporting those who travel for transplant related services at the following transplant centers: Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center; UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Geisinger Medical Center, Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Lankenau Medical Center, Christiana Care Health System, and Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. Lodging and supportive services are currently provided to patients and their caregivers travelling to Philadelphia for their transplant related care through Gift of Life Howie’s House.
