Ring in the New Year by honoring donors and recipients on the 9th Donate Life America float on Monday, January 2. This year, the float is titled “…One More Day,” to symbolize the spirit of the gift of time that donation brings.

2012 will mark the third year that Gift of Life Donor program has sponsored riders and florographs featured in the parade. The florographs are memorial portraits-most of which are decorated by the honoree’s family members- to pay tribute to deceased organ, eye, and tissue donors nationwide. This year, Gift of Life will be traveling to Pasadena, California with local residents who will help pay tribute to organ donation awareness during the parade.

The parade will be aired on television.

The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Gift of Life Donor Program Presents: The Power of Giving: Organ and Tissue Donation, a learning session for ministry leaders.

Come and join us as we plan our February Social. We'll also share how we made it through the holiday season.

Volunteers will be there educating the public and registering donors on-site.

The Multicultural Affairs Coalition (MAC) is a volunteer group that serves as a link to the multicultural communities. Through our volunteer efforts we will impact, educate, inform, and dispel the myths concerning the critical issue of organ and tissue donation.

MAC invites transplant recipients, transplant candidates, donor family members, living donors, and all interested in educating the multicultural and religious communities to join.

The Southern NJ Coalition meets on the third Tuesday of every other month.
