The 9th Annual Jessie's Day returns to McFadden's Restaurant at Citizens Bank Ballpark. Each year, the Schwartz family celebrates the memory of their daughter Jessica Beth Schwatrz, an artist and heart recipient. The Schwartz family generously offers scholarships to young transplant recipients hoping to further their education, and fund the efforts partially through this yearly fundraiser. Tickets are available online HERE. Tickets are $35 pre-registration online, $40 at the door.

Donation Champion Learning Session (Allentown, PA)

This is a one day, highly interactive program that focuses on the role of critical care staff in utilizing and sharing best-demonstrated practices for referring potential organ donors to the organ procurement organization, providing support for families of potential organ donors, and maximizing clinical donor management.
Attendees will be given focused information to allow him or her to become a Donation Champion, one who role-models and shares key information to assist colleagues in carrying out these best practices in real time.
Who Should Attend? ICU and ER Nurses, Nurse Leaders, Respiratory Therapists, and Anyone Who May Care for a Potential Organ Donor
