"Threads of Love" Donor Memorial Quilt: Quilt 37

Jonathan Jumper

This quilt square represents the things in life that Jonathan Jumper, born July 10, 1956, enjoyed.

He loved hunting, spending time with loved ones in the woods, then celebrating everyone’s luck with a delicious spaghetti dinner at his aunt’s home.

He proudly wore his John Deere hats and never missed a Truck and Tractor Show.

His golden retriever, Lige, was his best friend. Wherever John went so did his best friend.

Ford Trucks were his only automobile.

He loved to camp at Riverside Acres in Clayton, NY and fish the St. Lawrence River. He would often travel there with his nieces and nephews. Alexandria Bay, NY celebrates a Pirate Festival Week each year. He rarely missed it. He had a t-shirt from each year he attended.

These are a few memories from Jonathan’s life. A life that he enjoyed.
