"Threads of Love" Donor Memorial Quilt: Quilt 25
Caught him singing one day..."Don't worry, about a thing, because every little thing, is going to be alright." No matter life's troubles, aches or pains, there was always good to be done and fun to be had. First and foremost, Jeff was a son, brother, honeybunny, dad, poppy, coach and man's best friend. He gave all of himself in these roles. No arguments here on his selflessness, generosity and devotion. After his chores were done, it was time to relax and celebrate the blessings he was given.
Imagine the warm coastal sands and waves crashing. Jeff is sitting in a beach chair, dripping with extra suntan oil his body hasn't absorbed yet. His Jamaican beads resting on his chest. Bob Marley filling the air around the spot he claimed on the beach for that day. After a day of sun, he retreats to the #1 Tavern and enjoys one of his favorite drinks. At the bar, he surrounds himself with friends and strangers, who later became friends of the night. If there is a chill in the air later that night, he bundles up in one of the few sweatshirts he owned, but wore proudly to sport his favorite college, sports team or place to be.
This was Jeff's escape....his heaven. And that's where we picture him today. Now, there are no worries. Everything is alright.
