This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent college graduate or newly experienced Volunteer professional to work collaboratively with the Volunteer Coordinator in the provision and support of all aspects of Gift of Life's volunteer outreach program supporting Gift of Life Donor Program and the Family House. Reporting to the Director of Community Relations, the Volunteer Liaison works collaboratively with the Volunteer Coordinator by sharing expertise/knowledge, information and resources to ensure the seamless provision of Volunteer Services.

Job Description:
Gift of Life Donor Program, the non-profit agency serving eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware, is responsible for recovering and distributing organ and tissues used in life-saving and life-enhancing transplants. The Gift of Lifevolunteer outreach program is designed to increase public awareness of and commitment to organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent college graduate or newly experienced Volunteer professional to work collaboratively with the Volunteer Coordinator in the provision and support of all aspects of Gift of Life's volunteer outreach program supporting Gift of Life Donor Program and the Family House. Reporting to the Director of Community Relations, the Volunteer Liaison works collaboratively with the Volunteer Coordinator by sharing expertise/knowledge, information and resources to ensure the seamless provision of Volunteer Services.
You will coordinate the recruitment, supervision and training of more than 500 volunteers throughout the year, as well as the acknowledgement and cultivation of volunteers through various means; Produces the quarterly volunteer newsletter; Provide staff support for 2 volunteer groups and the high school/college intern program; Coordinate the Speaker's Bureau program, including fielding requests for volunteer participation in speaking programs, health fairs, and other community and hospital programs; Conduct follow-up to evaluate results of community education programs; Represent Gift of Life at community speaking programs and health fairs when necessary; Provide logistical support to program staff in identifying and scheduling of volunteers to assist with special events and programs, including both Gift of Life Donor Program and Family House; Maintain database system to monitor and evaluate volunteer and public education activities; Participate in special projects; and performs miscellaneous related duties, and other duties as assigned
