Supervisor, Transplant Coordinator Services

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced CPTC eager to partner with OPO and hospital staff.

Gift of Life Donor Program, the nations leading organ procurement organization, is responsible for recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in life-saving and life-enhancing transplants in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced CPTC eager to partner with OPO and hospital staff.

You will Supervises an assigned team of full and part time employees who include Transplant Coordinators (TC) and/or Referral Coordinators (RC); You will motivate and foster collaborative efforts in the Transplant Coordinator Services Department to meet Gift of Life Donor Program goals and objectives; You are responsible for assisting the Manager, TC services with orientation training and training for Transplant Coordinator staff and will identify training needs and monitor/manage performance; You will manage Transplant Coordinator participation in Hospital Development activities by assigning staff to programs and monitoring individual performance; You will assist management in developing policies and procedures which guide Transplant Coordinator practices; You will oversee program improvement projects as well as ensure departmental compliance with all internal, CMS, UNOS, AOPO, AATB, and FDA regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will assume Administrator On-Call responsibilities as well as be available to assume Transplant Coordinator responsibilities weekdays and weekends in the event of increased clinical activity; and you will perform the duties of Referral Coordinator, Transplant Coordinator and/or Advanced Practice Coordinator as required.

Successful candidates will possess CPTC credentials and at least three years experience working as a Procurement Coordinator. A Bachelor degree and one year of supervisory experience in the clinical setting preferred. Certification in CPR, ACLS and PALS is preferred. You must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving history and demonstrate proficiency using Micro-Soft Office.
