Advanced Practice Coordinator

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced CPTC eager to partner with major academic hospitals in the Philadelphia region to apply advanced donor management skills in the clinical setting, including critical care transport and management of organ recoveries performed in our state of the art in-house recovery suites.

Gift of Life Donor Program, the nations leading organ procurement organization, is responsible for recovering and distributing organs and tissues used in life-saving and life-enhancing transplants in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced CPTC eager to partner with major academic hospitals in the Philadelphia region to apply advanced donor management skills in the clinical setting, including critical care transport and management of organ recoveries performed in our state of the art in-house recovery suites.

The Advanced Practice Coordinator (APC) provides onsite assessment and advanced clinical interventions aimed at donor management to improve thoracic organ recruitment and overall organ utilization; serves as a resource to the Procurement Coordinators to develop and advance their clinical management skills; and serves as clinical liaison working with the local thoracic transplant programs to develop and maintain strong working partnerships.

You will utilize your clinical skills and past TC experience to effectively train and assist the transplant coordinator orientee, Transplant Coordinator's recently off orientation, and the Transplant Coordinator in clinical case management of the potential organ donor. This includes onsite assessment and implementation of clinical interventions aimed at maximizing organ utilization. The APC will also be responsible for the coordination and donor management of all donors transferred to the Gift of Life Donor Program facility. The APC will be responsible for clinical outcomes for the TC's assigned to their team. The APC is a clinical leader actively participating in training, mentoring, teaching and modeling of GOL practice.

Successful candidates will possess CPTC credentials and at least four years experience working as a Procurement Coordinator. Advanced degree and supervisory experience a plus.
