Dr. Zakiyah Kadry
Dr. Zakiyah Kadry joined the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center transplant surgery team in June 2005, as the Chief, Division of Transplantation. She received her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1983, and did her transplant fellowship at the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute from 1991 to 1993, after completing a General Surgery Residency at Hershey (1986-1990).
Dr. Kadry has performed organ transplants at various hospitals around the world, participating in surgery programs in Switzerland and Italy. Over the course of her career, she has participated in a variety of abdominal organ transplantations with her specialty being liver transplant surgery.
