Dr. Gerard J. Fulda is the Director of Surgical Critical Care at Christiana Care Health System. Dr. Fulda is Board-Certified in Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Neurocritical Care.
Dr. Fulda is a leader in the field of Trauma and Critical Care Medicine. He is the Program Director for Christiana Care’s Surgical Critical Care Fellowship and Director of Surgical Research. Dr. Fulda has held leadership roles in the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). He is on the Board of Regents of the American College of Critical Care Medicine.
Additionally, Dr. Fulda is currently the Vice-Chancellor for the College of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Fulda is Co-Chair of the Organ Donor Guidelines Committee for the College of Critical Care Medicine. He has been a member of the Gift of Life Board for more than three years.
