Cynthia London
Cynthia London has been a resident of Philadelphia her entire life and is very committed to the Philadelphia community. She has an Associate’s Degree and has worked for the Philadelphia Housing Authority for the past 23 years, where she serves as an Applicant Review Specialist in the Leasing Department.
Additionally, Cynthia serves a very important role on the Gift of Life Governing Board as a representative for donor families. Cynthia’s son, Sipho, passed away in 1997, and Cynthia made the incredibly generous decision to donate his organs to those in need of a life-saving transplant. Since her son’s passing, Cynthia has been very dedicated to Gift of Life and actively works to raise awareness about organ and tissue donation at churches, prayer breakfasts, and speaking engagements. Cynthia also participates in the Multicultural Affairs Coalition (MAC) and has attended the Transplant Games as a member of Team Philadelphia.
