Suresh Keshavamurthy, MD
Dr. Keshavamurthy is currently the Assistant Professor of Surgery and a Thoracic Transplant Surgeon at Temple University Medical Center. His focus areas include: heart and lung transplantation; donor heart/lung/heart-lung procurement; donor organ preservation and transport; coronary artery bypass grafting with arterial conduits-IMA and radial artery; redo sternotomy, redo CABG and redo valve surgery; minimally invasive valve surgery and ex-vivo lung perfusion, to prepare lungs for clinical lung transplantation. Dr. Keshavamurthy earned a BS, MB and JJM from the Medical College of Davangere, India. He completed residencies in general surgery at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India, and in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
